In bands since he was nine years old Bud has been making music ever since.  Starting out playing French horn in school and Soprano Bugle after school.  Brought up around all manner of folk music Bud gravitated toward Celtic music by the time he was in High School.  Learning to play a little bit   of just about any instrument he could find he settled on Kentucky Dulcimer, Bodhran, fife and penny whistle.  Bud is formerly a member of Molyhawks a Celtic band from the Bucks Co. PA area.

Born into a musical Irish-American family, Andy’s first gig was at the tender age of eleven when he played the “traps” in his grandfather’s ceilidh band. From there, lessons in highland drum, (with classes taught by Scottish drum pioneer, Alex Duthart), gave Andy the rudiments needed to become a successful corps and solo competitor. Andy also enjoyed success as a rock drummer, performing with many signed and unsigned bands, sharing the stage with The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bauhaus and Mister Mister. Throughout this time, Andy began performing as a singer/songwriter and has a few tunes logged in with BMI. He has been a music consultant for Civil War author, Shelby Foote, a music coordinator for independent films and is currently developing a series of historical albums devoted to rope tension drumming. Even though he produces the Na’Bodach albums, Andy cannot hold drumsticks with his toes.

Playing guitar at the age of ten and performing in a band that featured his brother on accordion, Glenn knew that his musical life would be anything but ordinary. He evolved into one of the most sought after live gig guitarists in the Philly area. Glenn has performed in many bands and ranged in styles from funk to folk, in venues from the corner bar to Franklin Field. He is also an accomplished lighting and sound technician, plying his craft at the famed Keswick Theater. At live shows, Glenn has the additional function of stage manager, overseeing Casey’s dance moves and keeping George away from the microphones.

Fiddle.

George’s musical training began with clarinet lessons, shifting to violin in his school orchestra. When offered the opportunity to study the highland bagpipes with his cousin, Casey Jones, (yes, they are related), George jumped for the chance! He developed to a level that allowed him to successfully compete in corps and individual competition, earning awards in both. As a fiddle player, George now performs with Na’Bodach and as an “old time” fiddler in regional competitions and recognizes the difference between hornpipe as a music form and hornpipe as a musical instrument.

First taught by the legendary PM Donald Leslie, Casey quickly developed into a top rate bagpiper, earning him a place in the U.S. Air Force Pipe Band. As a member of that famous military unit, he traveled the world, performing at international functions and venues including the Cardiff Military Tattoo. After serving his country, Casey returned home to instruct and perform with several regional pipe bands. He also found himself a member of more than a few fife and drum corps. Besides playing in Na’Bodach, Casey is busy working on the world’s first, non-polluting coal furnace.
